This year's Avengers: Infinity War is already one of the highest-grossing films of all-time, but who knows how much more it would've made had a scene been left where two members of Guardians of the Galaxy argue over the merits of an Ace Frehley song while their ship is grounded in the deep space location of Knowhere.

In the clip above, which was shown at Comic-Con recently according to We Got This Covered, team leader Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, is trying to get his mojo back by listening to -- what else -- Frehley's "New York Groove," which was a hit when the Spaceman covered it for his KISS solo album in 1978. The scene begins in silence with Star-Lord looking agitated and demanding, "Turn it back on!"

"No!" comes the cry from fellow Guardians member Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista).  "Can't keep listening to the same song again and again and again!"

"I told you, I been screwed up man, I gotta get back in the groove, specifically the 'New York Groove!'" Star-Lord says. "Give me my Zune!"

A running joke since the second Guardians of the Galaxy film has Star-Lord using the Microsoft Zune, the failed iPod competitor from the mid-00s which gloriously tanked. His adopted father Yondu had bequeathed the device to him after he died, leaving the impression that on Earth it was the music listening accessory of choice.

"The man who sings this song is a degenerate!" Drax says, stomping away with the Zune in tow.

"I will not sit here and allow you to malign Ace Frehley!" Quill yells as he stalks Drax around a table to try to get back the Zune.

"Ace Frehley is not helping," Drax replies. "We haven't even left Knowhere yet."

"Ace Frehley is helping more than you are," Star-Lord responds before the two are interrupted by Mantis, who points out the blinking of a light on the ship indicating a coded message has been coming through - for many hours - leading to a significant plot development.

While the scene was eventually left on the cutting room floor, it will appear with a host of other deleted clips when Avengers: Infinity War is released digitally tomorrow (July 31) and on Blu-ray and DVD Aug. 14.
