I like to try and eat healthy at work, meaning I usually eat chicken and broccoli, now I don't microwave it. I put it in the oven, but everyone always jokes and says I ruined the microwave with my "smelly food." This got me thinking... What Is the worst food to microwave in the workplace?

Here are some of the worst foods to microwave. Don't forget to let us know what you think at the end of our poll.

The Worst Foods

We got this list from a few different sources, you can see that here.

5) Peppers or hot food.

4) Eggs

I actually knew this one, but it's always a good reminder that eggs in the microwave is a bad idea. They may not smell bad, but they do explode! I learned that the hard way as a kid...

3) Fish

This one is a classic. It will for sure get you on the workplace hit list. That smell hangs around!

2) Bacon

Sure the smell of bacon is fine. It's strong, but it still smells good, but burnt bacon is another story. It's a few seconds too long and it's popping around, making a mess AND causing a smell.

1) Popcorn

Much like bacon, it smells good when it's made right, but it's a weird lunchtime meal. It's more of a social snack, not to mention if you burn this one the kitchen will smelt like burnt death for the next few hours!
