We've all seen random buildings get turned into something new. Sometimes it's very obvious like when a Pizza Hut gets turned into something new, but still has the over sized roof. Other times it works perfect like with this diner.

This new spot isn't very new seeing as though it is now over 30 years old, but with that kind of longevity you know this spot is going to be great.

This spot is located in Madison and is called Monty’s Blue Plate Diner. "Only In Your State" goes on to say,

longtime Wisconsin diner that’s always worth a visit. Located on Atwood Avenue in the eclectic Schenk-Atwood neighborhood, this charming diner has been serving up delicious comfort food with a creative twist since it first opened its doors in 1990.

For years, it was a city gas station named called Olaf Severson’s gas station. It was in operation for a reported 39 years. Just about  5 years longer than the current pie dinner.

Monty's Blue Plate Diner quickly became a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors. It is also a great throw back and old school dinner. The food is also great.
