Did you know, actor James Cromwell (Farmer Arthur Hoggett), became a strict vegan after this film? He was already a vegetarian and decided to take it one step further. He also became an animal rights activist. His career took off too, with roles in 'Star Trek: First Contact,' 'L.A. Confidential,' and 'The Green Mile.'
