Best Dog-Friendly Hotel in Iowa is in the Quad Cities
If you've ever needed an overnight stay, but you want to bring Luna along with you it's not always easy to find a hotel that welcomes you and your dog with open arms.
You don't have to go far to find Iowa's best dog-friendly hotel because it's right here in the Quad Cities.
House Beautiful conducted a search to find the best dog-friendly hotels in each state. The best dog-friendly hotel in Illinois is the fancy-schmancy Viceroy in Chicago, but Iowa's best dog-friendly hotel is in downtown Davenport.
The Current, the stylish Autograph Collection hotel that features original artwork in every room, a rooftop patio overlooking the Mississippi River, and a private tequila-aging and -tasting room earned the top spot for Iowa.
Maybe it's because of the Bow Wow package which includes a leash, treats, dog bed, water dish, and even a dog shower station (inside and warm) on the hotel's second level.
I don't recommend taking Oscar to the tequila tasting though. No one wants a drunk doggie.
So now that we know your pup is welcomed at the hotel and will get plenty of amenities, let's talk about you. Check out the rooms and everything else this hotel has to offer. I'm guessing you'll be pretty comfy too. Isn't it time to book a room for a stay-cation? Get more details at the hotel's website. You can book a room there too.
