Downtown Davenport is getting ready for a night of glitz, glamour, and plenty of personality as Viva La Divas takes the stage tonight at Up Sky Bar during the 2026 Alternating Currents Festival.

Viva La Divas Bringing Drag to Alternating Currents

The local drag group has become a standout in the Quad Cities entertainment scene, bringing together talented performers and showcasing some of the best drag artists from across the Midwest.

A typical drag show is a live variety performance centered around drag artists, usually combining music, comedy, dancing, lip-syncing, audience interaction, and elaborate costumes.

Alternating Currents In The Quad Cities This Weekend

Founded in 2017 by the Downtown Davenport Partnership, Alternating Currents has grown into one of the area's biggest celebrations of creativity and culture. The festival features hundreds of events covering music, film, comedy, visual art and more, turning downtown spaces throughout the Quad Cities into stages and creative gathering places.
