Alright, back to why you came here!

Congrats to Keon Davis, 29, of Bettendorf won the second top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Cash Creator" scratch game, according to Iowa Lottery officials. Davis told officials on Monday when he claimed his prize at the IA Lottery's office in Cedar Rapids,

"I've been looking for a food truck, and this is just right on time."

He purchased his winning ticket at Expresslane, 1208 E. Locust St. in Davenport. Needless to say, he was incredibly surprised to find out he won when he scratched his winning ticket after leaving the store,

"I didn't even scratch it at the store – I left. I scratched it and when I looked at it, it didn't seem real. I went back to the store and it was definitely real!"

Keon is a father of three and said the win will help him expand his home business to a food truck. He specializes in jerk chicken and soul food, and named his business, Freddie's Jerk Joint, after his late grandmother, who taught him to cook.

Cash Creator is a $2 scratch game that features eight top prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.82. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Back in June, the Quad Cities saw 5 big-time winners! The last QC winner in June was Vanessa Lam of Bettendorf who won the third top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "X The Money" scratch game. The top prize is worth $50,000.

Lam bought her winning ticket at EZ Stop, 2923 Brady St. in Davenport. She claimed her prize Tuesday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

On June 14th, we told you about a Rryan Claussen of Eldridge who won $100,000 on a scratch-off ticket while on a road trip with his dad. He bought that winning ticket at Casey's (1800 S. B Ave.) in Nevada.
