Blustery Winds in the Quad Cities Bring a Chance of Snow
The dog and I didn't appreciate the strong winds this Monday morning on our walk. At least the sun was shining in the Quad Cities. Those blustery winds and cooler temps may pave the way for some snow.
According to OurQuadCities.com, we can expect the winds to blow all day and into the evening with gusts of wind exceeding 40 mph at times. That means wind chills in the 10-20° range.
The breeze finally goes away later Monday night. Don't expect to see much sunshine on Tuesday, but instead expect to see some snow. Meteorologists say there will be minimal accumulation. You won't have to worry about dusting off the snow shovel just yet.
