‘Chonkosaurus’ a 100lbs Snapping Turtle, Spotted on the Chicago River (Video)

The largest snapping turtle I've ever seen was spotted on the Chicago River, rested comfortably on a pile of rusted chains. 'Chonkosaurus' may be the most bad ass turtle, ever.

A couple Chicago fellas, Joey Santore and Al Scorch were kayaking down the Chicago River. The two have a comedy YouTube Channel, CLICK HERE to check it out.

As they are searching for plant life (Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't is the name of the channel) they came across a Snapping Turtle that they nicknamed 'Chonkosaurus.' This has to be close to 100 pounds, right?

The turtle was sitting on a pile of old rust chains, this could seriously be a Dio album cover. As the guys are filming, the comments are comedy gold.

"Look at the size of this (bleep) thing...Hey how you doing guy, you look good. You look good, I'm real proud of ya. You been eating healthy? Ever heard of a liquid salad?" - Joey Santore and Al Scorch

 

These guys are hilarious, even in this super bizarre situation. The assumption is that  'Chonkosaurus' is a pregnant female Snapping Turtle.
