Craig’s List: 4 Things to Know – 2/7
Did the thunder wake you up last night?
1 - According to WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen, a deepening low pressure system was responsible for our rare February thunderstorm in the Quad Cities around 1am this morning. Dense fog followed which should start clearing out by 8am. An inch of snow is expected late tonight which could make your Wednesday morning commute interesting. Get the forecast details here.
2 - Regional basketball playoffs have started for some teams. The Alleman girls basketball team defeated Rockridge last night to setup a semi-final with Mercer County tonight. More local basketball scores and skeds when we do That Sports Thing about 7:35am on The Morning KIIK Start on FM 104.9.
3 - 80's supermodel Christie Brinkley is back in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue at age 63. Find out more when we do That Hollywood Thing around 8:35am on The Morning KIIK Start on FM 104.9.
4 - I've got a Family 4-Pack of passes to this weekend's Quad Cities Regional Auto Show at the River Center in Davenport to give away every morning this week. Listen around 8:15am for your chance to win.
Have a great Tuesday!
- Craig
