I have mis-matched socks on, so you know how my Friday is starting off...

1 - Rain, rain go away! We haven't seen the sun since last Friday here in the Quad Cities. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen says the sun should return by this afternoon and hang around until a least Sunday morning. Let's get a move on, Spring!

2 - In the 8 o'clock hour, I'll be giving away the last pair of tickets to see Journey & Asia at the iWireless Center on Monday night. And I'll have more concert news during That Hollywood Thing at around 8:30am on the Morning KIIK Start.

3 - Baseball is back this weekend. The defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs (still hard to wrap one's head around) open their season on the road with a series against their arch-rivals the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. More scores and such when we do That Sports Thing at about 7:35am on FM 104.9.

4 - It was 37 years ago today that the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad - the Rock Island Line - was forced to liquidate due to bankruptcy, and the final train came to a stop. ~~~The Rock Island Line, was a mighty fine line...~~~

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to make "rabbit, rabbit" the first thing you say tomorrow morning for good luck throughout April.

- Craig
