It's the first day of Summer!

1 - After receiving buckets of rain last night, the Summer Solstice brings more rain for the Quad Cities, but none of the storms should be severe. Your Local 4 News Pinpoint Forecast is here.

2 - It's the longest day of the year - the first day of Summer. We actually begin the ride back to winter today. The Summer Solstice occurred at 5:07am this morning. The days will get shorter now through December. Read the science behind the seasons here.

3 - The River Bandits are home for a weekend series against the Beloit Snappers beginning tonight at Modern Woodmen. Catch the game on our sister station KBOB AM 1170.
