Dangerous Blue-Green Algae Is Killing Our Pets
Letting your pup take a swim in a lake could be one of the most dangerous things you can let him do.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is advising swimmers to avoid several lakes in Iowa because of something dangerous in the water.
In other states, this blue algae toxin has been deadly and killed pets. Don't take a risk with your fur baby. Pay close attention to signs and better yet, contact the DNR to make sure water is safe if you're planning an outing.
