Santa and Puppies: Quad City Storm Hosts Festive Christmas Game This Sunday
Here’s a Christmas event in the Quad Cities that brings together hockey fans, families, and plenty of holiday spirit.
On Sunday, December 14, the Quad City Storm will take on the Evansville Thunderbolts at 2:10 p.m. inside the Vibrant Arena at The MARK—and this game is packed with festive fun.
“Santa Paws” Night: Bring Your Dog for Photos With Santa
The final game before Christmas is officially Santa Paws Night, meaning fans are welcome to bring their dogs to the arena for a photo with Santa. As the Storm put it, “Kids, adults, and even your dogs are invited to pose for a picture with Santa.”
Dog owners must bring proof of vaccinations—typically referred to as vaccination records—to ensure all pets are cleared to attend.
Meet the Team After the Game
Once the final buzzer sounds, the holiday fun continues. Fans can head down to the ice for a postgame meet-and-greet with the entire Storm roster. Players will be signing autographs, taking photos, and wishing fans a merry Christmas.
A Growing Quad Cities Holiday Tradition
The Storm’s holiday game has become one of the team’s most popular themed events, drawing families looking to celebrate the season in a fun and energetic setting. With hockey, Santa, and an on-ice experience all in one afternoon, this year’s event promises to be one of the most memorable yet.
