A new park is officially coming to Davenport after city officials approve construction costs for the new facility.

Get ready kids and families, a new park is coming to Davenport. Jersey Farms Park will be the latest park to be added to Davenport's list of 31 parks.

In a social media post from the City of Davenport's official Facebook page, officials say that the City Council approved costs for the construction of the park. Jersey Farms Park will feature playground equipment with swings and a recreation shelter.

Jersey Farms Park will also be home to new pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, horseshoe pits, and a circular walking trail with benches. Jersey Farms Park will also have parking spaces for people driving to the new park.

Jersey Farm Park will also have native planting and connect to a recreational trail on the south side of Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Located at the 2900 block of East 65th Street, construction on Jersey Farms Park will begin in 2021.
