Halloween Parade Takes Over Downtown Davenport

Downtown Davenport will come alive with costumes, candy, and community spirit as the city’s annual Halloween Parade steps off on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Families and friends are encouraged to dress up, line the streets, and bring buckets for candy as floats, performers, and spooky characters fill the streets.

City officials announced that participant applications for the 2025 parade have reached full capacity, meaning no new entries will be accepted. However, those who still want to be part of the festivities can sign up to volunteer and help make this year’s event a success.

Trick-or-Treat Night Set for October 31

Davenport’s official city-wide trick-or-treating will take place on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights if they plan to welcome trick-or-treaters and to use caution while driving during those hours.
