Don’t Miss “Ghost Tales” With The Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation This Month
If you're a big fan of Halloween the Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation is ready to help you get in the Halloween spirit. You can catch "Ghost Tales" on the grounds of the Colonel Davenport House on Arsenal Island.
Catch the awesome and spooky ghost stories this weekend Saturday, September 24, 2022.
While there are sure to be some fun and spooky stories on the grounds, this event is still family-friendly meaning everyone is welcome.
Please note that all attendees age 16 and older must show U.S. photo I.D. since the Island is a working military facility.
If you want to tour the Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation, but can't make it for the Halloween event, the Colonel Davenport House is open Thursday to Saturday from 12-4 p.m. Learn more here.
Admission includes a guided tour of the historically-furnished Colonel Davenport House and grounds. You'll see how the family lived in the 1800s and learn how the area developed.

Admission for this event is $6 for adults while those 12 and younger are free. They will also have refreshments for sale. You can learn more here.

Guests are asked to enter through the Moline gate.
The event is requesting that you bring a mask to wear when inside the house. This is for those who come before the main event to get a tour of the Colonel Davenport House beginning at 5:30 p.m. that’s included with admission.
