Life's like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get.

This week though, you're getting something pretty good! Forrest Gump is back in theaters, but only for a quick run. It's all part of the movie's 25th anniversary celebration, only at select theaters in the country.

Fortunately, Davenport's Cinemark theater is one of those participating! The theater had showings on Sunday, June 23rd, with more tonight, the 25th. There are two showtimes that Quad Citizens can catch. One is a matinee, at 3 p.m. and the other is tonight at 7 p.m.

As of 11:46 a.m., there were still plenty of seats available, so you don't necessarily have to run, Forrest, run to make it in.

With Forrest Gump's return, that makes two Tom Hanks movies in theaters right now. (Toy Story 4 is enjoying a hefty first week of profits). When was the last time that happened...the late 90s?
