It's almost time for one of the best winter weather activities: ice skating! Sure, it hurts when you wipe out, but it's also a super cute, cliche date night. So get ready, because we officially have an opening date for a popular ice skating spot in the Quad Cities!

According to KWQC, Frozen Landing will open on Thursday, Nov. 27 at 5:00 p.m. And they're doing it in style. There will also be a tree lighting for attendees.

This year, admission to the outdoor rink is just $1.00. Skate rentals are available for $2.00 for both children and adults.

Here's a full list of hours for the rink this year:

Mondays and Wednesdays: 1:30-9:00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3:00-9:00 p.m.
Fridays: 3:00-10:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Sundays: Noon-6:00 p.m.

Worth noting: these hours are subject to change, based on what's happening with the weather. The rink will close if it's raining, or if there is snow accumulation that needs to be cleared off the ice.

It will also close if temperatures are above 50 degrees, below five degrees, and whenever the wind chill is -15 degrees.
