Festive Weekend Ahead: Downtown Fulton Gears Up for Christmas Walk and Breakfast with Santa
The holiday spirit lights up Fulton, Illinois, this weekend as residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the annual Fulton Christmas Walk Friday evening, followed by a warm community breakfast with Santa Claus on Saturday morning at the fire station.
Christmas Walk Brings Holiday Fun
On Friday, December 5, from 5:00–7:30 p.m., downtown Fulton will host the Christmas Walk. The festivities feature a live Nativity scene, barrel-train rides, holiday games, local shopping, and more. Visitors can enjoy unusual touches like life-size Candyland games, a “snowball hockey” match, and performances by the local high school choir.
Saturday Morning: Breakfast with Santa
Then, on Saturday morning from 7:00–10:00 a.m., the Fulton Fire Department will host their popular “Breakfast with Santa.” Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee, milk, and orange juice — with carryout options available. A free-will donation will be taken, with proceeds supporting Fire and EMS services. Santa himself will be on hand for photos. Everyone is welcome.
A Weekend for the Entire Family
Between festive evening activities and a cozy Saturday breakfast, the weekend offers something for all ages — from shopping local and live music to children’s programs and family-friendly fun. Organizers encourage anyone interested to check the community’s social media page for more details or to submit upcoming events to Fulton’s weekly newsletter by email.
