Getting healthy and staying healthy can be difficult for many of us. The Bettendorf Public Library has opportunities throughout March for all of us, regardless of age, to become a little healthier through their series of programs called HealthPoints. Adult learning opportunities include: A presentation on brain health. Heart healthy eating. No equipment necessary exercise. Stress release. Even Diabetes friendly cooking.

Teens and kids aren't left out either. Teen and Children's programs include: Growing up and eating healthy. Hands free CPR. The Importance of hand washing and even vision screenings.

If you're interested in attending any of these programs or checking out the schedule you can see that here. The HealthPoints program is being made possible by Unity Point Health and the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation. Unity Point's support of the program has also enabled the library to add books and materials to it's permanent  collection which will be available all the time to help us lead healthier lives.
