The Illinois Department of Public Health will open a testing site at the TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline. You don't have to have any symptoms to be tested. Testing is free, but the IDPH suggests bringing your insurance card if you have one. Insurance is not required.

The test is a simple nasal swab. The site is set up for drive-through, but walk up testing is also permitted.

Hours for the testing are Saturday, Dec. 26 and Sunday, Dec. 27, 8 am to 4 pm.
