A recent study looked at the 50 drunkest counties in America. Iowa is home to 6 of the drunkest counties in all of the USA. Today we will be looking at all 6 of those spots in Iowa while also checking out the other counties in other states.

How They Got The Numbers
This study found the 50 drunkest counties in the U.S out of 3,106 counties using data from the 2021 County Health Rankings and Roadmap report. Wow out of that many counties I can't believe Iowa and Wisconsin make up over 75% of the drunkest numbers.
In every county on the list, more than one in four adults drinks excessively. Nationwide, fewer than one in five adults drinks excessively.

While Iowa is in second, Wisconsin has the biggest lead. The top 11 drunkest spots are all in Wisconsin.
In total 6 Iowa counties made it into the top 50. The state of Wisconsin is home to 41 and the other three spots are split between Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
