Iowa Pool Voted As One Of The Best In State
As a fan of pools and water parks I was excited to see a list of popular spots for swimming. 'Only In Your State' went on to feature this pool as many have called it one of the best in the state. Personally I think its cheating to count a pool inside a water park, but it still looks great!
The park we are looking at today has also found it's self on other lists not just highlighting a pool inside the park, but for the slides and rides as well. You can see that list here.
HomeToGo looked at 42 parks across 22 states when creating these rankings. They checked how much tickets, parking, and nearby accommodations cost, plus the number of roller coasters and other fun things to do.
The Best Pool In Iowa
Again this pool is inside a water park located in Altoona Iowa called Adventure Land (I'm sure you've heard of it.) Again I think this cheats a little. OIYS even says,
Adventureland Bay is a massive waterpark complex filled with Iowa's most thrilling rides and waterslides.
Kinda hard for local pools to compete with that. Two pools are highlighted in the list. The first is the largest wave pool in the state. The other is perfect for all ages. It is called Pirate's Port
But on the hottest days, our favorite spot here is the more laid-back Pirate's Port. It's one of the most relaxing spots in the park...
