Your Guide To Swimming Pool Opening Dates For Summer 2026 Near Davenport, Moline

We're finally getting ready for swimming season!

Now that winter's over and we're all done hibernating, it's time to get ready for pool season. You and I both know that, in the Midwest, we're not that far away from highs in the 80's and 90's and it could pop up at anytime.

So to make your life easier as you're trying to get the kids ready for a day at the pool, here's a list of opening times at QCA pools this summer. If your town isn't on the list, check with your local parks & rec department on the opening dates.

Moline

Moline's updated Riverside Riverslide pool opens for the season on May 23rd at 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. May 24th and May 25th they will also be open 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Their hours after May 23rd will look like this for the summer:

• May 26-May 29: 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. (Moline schools in session)
• May 30-August 13:
  • Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays (excluding August 4 & August 6): 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • August 4 & August 6: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
• August 14-Sept 7:
  • Mondays, Tuesdays: 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays-Fridays: closed
  • Saturdays, Sundays: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 7: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (Closing Day)

Scott County (Eldridge)

Scott County Park's swimming pool will also open on May 23rd at 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with those same hours on May 24th and May 25th. Their schedule will look like this over the summer:

• May 26-29: Closed
• May 30th- mid-August (official date not announced yet):
  • 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
• Mid-August-Labor Day
  • Weekends only
  • 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Davenport- Annie Wittenmyer

One of Davenport's community pools, located at the Annie Wittenmyer Aquatic Center (at 2828 Eastern Ave.), will open on May 31st from 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Here's what their public swim schedule looks like:

• Mondays & Wednesdays: Closed
• Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Saturdays, Sundays: 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Davenport- Fejervary

Davenport's other community pool at Fejervary Aquatic Center (1900 Telegraph Rd.) will open on May 30th from 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Their public swim schedule for this summer is this:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays: Closed
• Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Saturdays, Sundays: 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Bettendorf

Bettendorf's Splash Landing (also listed on Google as 'The Landing Aquatic Center') on Middle Road has gone through some updates in the last few years. They'll open May 23rd from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and will have the same hours on May 24th, May 25th, May 30th, and May 31st. Then their schedule will look like this:

• June 6-August 14:
  • Monday-Friday: 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Rock Island (Whitewater Junction)

Rock Island's Whitewater Junction (at 17th St. & 18th Ave.) will open May 23rd from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. 

• Open daily through Labor Day
• 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

East Moline

East Moline's Municipal Pool (at 4011 Archer Drive) will have these hours:

•  June 3rd-August 3rd
• Sundays 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Yes, I know some are missing from the list but a few communities don't have their 2026 hours listed yet, including Muscatine, Colona, and Milan.
