Keep Your Pet Safe This 4th Of July

The 4th of July is coming.

Now is the time to secure fences, refill anxiety meds, update pet ID tags, and get your pet micro-chipped.

4th of July is the busiest time of year for area shelters. Many lost pets end up at the there after fireworks.

Did you know local animal shelters and vet clinics offer micro-chipping? Now would be a good time to schedule a visit.

ID tags can be made at any pet store or you can write your info on your pet's collars with a permanent marker.

It never hurts to check your home's gates regularly for those escape artists too. 

Also, consider leaving pets at home rather than taking them to fireworks shows. They will probably thank you for that.
