KIIK 104.9’s Pet of the Week: Naomi

Our pet of the week from the Scott County Humane Society is Naomi. She is a two year old long haired miniature dachshund. She would be a great dog for a family with older children willing to put in some work to train her.

Dachshund's were originally bred to hunt Badgers so she might be a digger. Because she is long and has short legs she might find it easy to squeeze under your fence if there is a gap between the fence and grass. Naomi was quiet for our visit, however, once settled in her fur-ever home she could be more vocal.
