Mass closures of stores in America are nothing new. The great state of Illinois is seeing this firsthand with Kroger. As of right now Illinois has seen four Kroger closings.

Now one more is set to close in Fall 2025.

These closings have been nationwide; Cheapism also went on to elaborate on these massive closings.
