Lane Closures on I-280 Starts Monday

If you drive on the I-280 bridge in the Quad Cities keep in mind lane closures start next week.

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) says lane closures on the 1-280 bridge will start on Monday, August 17 for bridge inspections according to KWQC-TV.

The westbound lane will be closed Monday and Tuesday form 8 am -4:30 pm. Lane closures will switch to eastbound on Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August from 8 am-4:30 pm.

IDOT reminds us all to use extreme caution and drive slowly through work zones.
