Man Jumps to His Death from Downtown Moline Building

A man has jumped to his death from a building in downtown Moline.

According to the QC Times a man jumped from the LeClaire Apartments, formerly the LeClaire Hotel, Friday afternoon. Moline Police have confirmed the man did not survive.

The QC Times reports police and emergency crews were called around 2 p.m. The man was pronounced dead after crews arrived.

The coroner's office in Rock Island will assist in identifying the man.
