It's the changing of the seasons, and if you're looking to change things up with a new pet, we've got you covered. We here at US 104.9 have teamed up with UScellular and the Humane Society of Scott County to bring you the pet of the week! We spotlight a different pet looking for a forever home every week. Today we are meeting a dog who has been looking for a family for a while now.

Another awesome thing about this event is that UScellular is donating $50 each week to the Humane Society for our pet of the week.

Meet our 104.9 pet of the week Rocky Road!

This 43 lb boy is only a little over a year old, and is so playful! He loves to play with other dogs and definitely loves to get attention too. The zoomies with this guy are for real! We think he would thrive in a home where he can get equal parts time to play and time to roll over and get belly rubs.

Rocky Road is a unique-looking guy, with shorter legs than you would imagine, with a half-sized tail and floppy ears! I think it's safe to say this guy is a purebred mutt! But seriously, I'm sure a breed DNA test would come out pretty cool for this guy.

If you're looking for a guy whose tail is wagging pretty much 100% of the time, then stop by and ask to meet Rocky Road during our adoption hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 12 pm-6 pm or Saturdays & Sundays 12 pm-5 pm.

Due to our capacity crisis and having dogs in crates (check out our Facebook page for more details), we are extending our waived fee adoption event for all adult dogs and cats through September 10th!
