Here is your sign to adopt a dog. We here at US 104.9 have teamed up with UScellular and the Humane Society of Scott County to bring you the pet of the week! We put a spotlight on a different pet looking for a forever home every week.

Another awesome thing about this event is that UScellular is donating $50 each week to the Humane Society for our pet of the week.

Meet our 104.9 pet of the week Aquarius!

This extremely sweet girl is about 2 years old and is just the girl to share your couch with. Aquarius's favorite part of the day is when it's volunteer time and she gets to go out for walks. Not only does she loves getting to hang out with her favorite people, but she also loves enjoying the fresh air too.

Aquarius would do well in a moderately active home. No need for long hikes or runs, but a nice walk around the neighborhood or playing around in the backyard is what she would love. Aquarius still has a lot of basic obedience to learn as we don't think she's had much training in her past life. We've been working on basics like sit and lay down, and those are coming along, but she would benefit from someone willing to start from the beginning and show this girl the ropes.

We think Aquarius has the potential to do okay with another dog if she has a slow introduction and someone willing to train her along the way.
