As summer ends and the kids start school, it can be stressful. A great way to raise the families' sports is a new furry family friend! We here at US 104.9 have teamed up with UScellular and the Humane Society of Scott County to bring you the pet of the week! We spotlight a different pet looking for a forever home every week. Today we are meeting a dog who has been looking for a family for a while now.

Another awesome thing about this event is that UScellular is donating $50 each week to the Humane Society for our pet of the week.

The Pet Of The Week

Meet our 104.9 pet of the week Cheddar Cheese!

A little bit sharp, a little bit sweet, and just the right amount of ear flop going on with this gently aged Cheddar! Cheddar Cheese is a young boy with the silliest ears we've ever seen! To say he's adorable is an understatement. Cheddar loves people, snacks, and some good old-fashioned butt scritches.

Cheddar Cheese is only about 1 year old, so he still gets excited about the small things in life. He weighs about 50 lbs and would love to be in a moderately active or active home where he can run around and play to his little heart's desire.

Cheddar has done well meeting other dogs, so we think a home with another dog could be a good fit for him as well.

If you're looking for a fun-loving boy to keep you entertained, stop by and ask to meet Cheddar Cheese during our adoption hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 12 pm-6 pm or Saturdays & Sundays 12 pm-5 pm.
