We here at US 104.9 have teamed up with UScellular and the Humane Society of Scott County to bring you the pet of the week! We put a spotlight on a different pet looking for a forever home every week.

Another awesome thing about this event is that UScellular is donating $50 each week to the Humane Society for our pet of the week.

Meet our pet of the week Barcode!

Barcode is a medium-sized, 2.5-year-old black and white pup with the cutest ears! When he's really excited, one ear likes to stand up while the other folds over.

He has been with the Humane Society of Scott County since October now and somehow still hasn't found a home. He's great with everyone he has met and will love you even more if you take him out to play fetch! But seriously, if fetch were an Olympic sport, this guy would win the gold medal! While Barcode might not be the biggest fan of cats, we think he could do well living with another dog friend.

Barcode would do well in a moderately active to an active home. While he knows how to chill out and lay on the couch when he's tired, his ideal home would carve out time for regular games of fetch in the backyard, oh and he wouldn't mind some long walks or hikes as well if you're feeling up for it!

If you're interested in meeting Barcode, stop by the Humane Society of Scott County during their open adoption hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 12 pm - 6 pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 12 pm - 5 pm.
