How They Calculated the Numbers: A Detailed Breakdown

We took a look at Education.com

These days, the average tuition for a public college in the United States is about $26,000 per year, equaling about $104,000 after four years. However, what if we told you that this $104,000 for public university education would not even be enough to pay for one year at the most expensive high school in the United States?

The Alot Education Publication recently analyzed the most expensive high school in each state for the 2023-2024 school year. To put things into perspective, the average cost of private school in Illinois for 2024 is $9,287, according to Private School Review. This amount is only marginally less than the tuition at one of Illinois' priciest private schools.
