New Year’s Eve Bash at Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds Features Loess Hills & Mötley Scrüe
The Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds is closing out 2025 with a night of rock-driven celebration at its annual New Year’s Eve Bash. This year’s event features Motley Scrue, a high-energy Mötley Crüe tribute band, as the headliner, with regional favorite Loess Hills opening the show. The event is free, all-ages, and set for Wednesday, December 31, inside the Fair Center.
Loess Hills Starts the Night at 7:00 PM
The music kicks off at 7 p.m. with Loess Hills taking the stage. The band is expected to deliver a lively set to get the audience warmed up for the night’s main act.
What makes them special is their ability to take “country” beyond clichés: their music has drawn comparisons to a “country-rap-influenced storytelling” style, giving traditional country a modern, energetic twist — perfect for a party or New Year’s Eve crowd.
Mötley Scrüe Brings the Rock
Following the opener, Mötley Scrüe will lead the Fairgrounds into the new year with a full-throttle tribute to Mötley Crüe. Known for their authentic sound, big vocals, and electric stage presence, the band aims to bring classic rock nostalgia to the New Year’s Eve crowd.
Free, Family-Friendly Event
The Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds continues its tradition of hosting a no-cost New Year’s Eve celebration. All ages are welcome, and seating is first come, first served. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure a table and enjoy food, drinks, and a festive atmosphere.
More details will be available on the fairgrounds’ website and social pages as the event approaches.
