The Michael Mikrut Band

"The musicians in The Michael Mikrut Band grew up in SW Wisconsin and bonded over their shared passion for music. Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the years we’ve grown comfortable playing different genres, with a focus on Country and creating and playing our own originals.  We are playing in all areas of Wisconsin but are also hitting new areas in the Midwest. Our set list prominently features Country but will also dive into favorites from Classic Rock to originals. Faster Horses

Faster Horses is the musical result of a bunch of Iowa boys with humble beginnings being brought together for the love of one thing, unapologetically COUNTRY music. With influence from true cowboys of country music like George Strait, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, and Cody Johnson, the Faster Horses aim to deliver an emotional experience to the audience full of highs and lows just like their heroes did and still do. Their goal as a unit is to remove the listener from reality and take them on a journey for the duration of the performance, and hopefully, have them coming back and wanting more.

Monica Austin

Monica Austin is a MidWest Country music artist from the Quad City Area. Her slice-of-life writing style and swing for the fences stage show resonate deeply with fans from the heartland while providing listeners outside it a glimpse into their lifestyle. Monica’s brand of country music didn’t originate on a farm but rather in a little trailer park in Cambridge, IL. Her tendency to perform in bare feet over the genre-standard cowgirl boots is nearly as indicative of her journey as her lyrics.

Monica began singing along with the likes of Wynonna Judd, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Reba as a young girl. Bouncing from home to home as a child without a voice, she heard stories like her own for the first time in “Independence Day, Fancy and Someone Else’s Dream”, sparking hope that she could someday be as strong as the women who won the day in those songs. The soaring belt, soulful grit, and take-charge stage show that Monica’s fans and critics refer to were born of that determination. Since 2012, when she founded and fronted her first band, Fickle Filly, and the Haymakers, Monica has won the hearts and acclaim of fans across the MidWest. She has fronted hundreds of shows from acoustic duos on the local bar circuit to opening on the big stage for the likes of Mitchell Tenpenny, Allie Colleen, and her childhood idol, Wynonna Judd. A third-year member of the Midwest Country Music Association, Monica Austin’s EP is currently on rotation on 14 radio stations via the MidWest Country Music Originals radio show and is available on all buying/streaming platforms. Her first full album is currently in production.
