QC McDonald’s Locations Have Removed a Favorite Menu Item

Fast food places seem to be in the habit of giving us tasty new menu items, only to take them away a few months later (hello, Taco Bell Nacho Fries).

McDonald's is the latest chain to give us a big let down, as their Sweet 'n' Spicy Honey Glazed BBQ Chicken Tenders have suddenly vanished from menus nationwide.

The Golden Arches subtly broke the news to inquiring customers on their Facebook page:

"We are no longer selling the Honey Glazed BBQ Chicken Tenders as we like to evolve our menu from time to time. We hope you find a new favorite."

The tenders were added to menus last summer and instantly gained popularity. It's unclear just when the item was officially removed from stores since several customers commented that they attempted to order the food recently and were surprised to learn it was gone.

The tenders appear to be just another casualty in the constantly changing world of fast food.
