This Spot In Wisconsin Was Named One Of The Best Family Vacations in the U.S.

This holiday season you may be looking for a vacation spot, or possibly you're looking toward the summer. It looks like there is a spot here in the Midwest that is perfect for the entire family!

This is a spot I have personally visited before as a kid, a teen, and now as an adult. I can say I definitely agree with travelandleisure.com on this one.

Travelandleisure.com recently came out with a list of the 22 best places to take the family on vacation.

Luckily, you don't have to travel far to find one of these spots. Here are 22 of the best family vacations in the U.S., from big cities to national parks for camping or glamping.

The Best Spot In Wisconsin

Wisconsin found itself on this list with the iconic location that has been a travel destination since the 1850s when Leroy Gates began taking tourists on boat tours of the Wisconsin Dells and promoting the town to railroad travelers.

From water parks, amusement parks, zoos, food, events, and so much more. The Wisconsin Dells offers a fun and overall well-priced vacation, travelandleisure.com went on to say,

One of the best lake destinations in the Badger State, Wisconsin Dells comes up big in the family fun department. During the summer, Noah's Ark Waterpark is the place to be for rides and games. Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf has 91 unique holes, plus a playground and picnic area. Set kiddos loose for some free-range (but still supervised) exploration at Mirror Lake State Park.

 

Over the years the Dells did see a decrease in quality, but since 2018 many new and higher-quality attractions have been popping up in the Dells. Look at this new slide!
