The cold temps may have kept you inside last weekend. If you're experiencing a bout of cabin fever here are five things to do this week in the Quad Cities.

1. Bald Eagle Days take flight this weekend. The annual event celebrating bald eagles and other wildlife starts off Friday and through Sunday at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave., Rock Island. Admission cost $6 for adults, $1 for children ages 6-15. Admission is free for kids 5 and younger. For tickets, visit qccaexpocenter.com/bald-eagle-event.

2. Bottoms Up Burlesque, a Quad-City based burlesque troupe, returns to the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse stage for a special Broadway themed show. See the local group perform on Saturday at Circa '21, 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For more info or to purchase tickets, visit circa21.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m.

3. The QC based band Mountain Swallower, usually a loud alternative rock sound offers a rare acoustic show Friday, 6 p.m. at Cool Beanz Coffeehouse, 1325 30th St., Rock Island.

Also,it's the first show of the year at the Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Racccon Motel, 304 E. 3rd St., Davenport. See musical acts Sunshrine, Leather Parachute and Nonnie Parry on Thursday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m.

4. Mike Super, the winner of "Phenomenon," the magic competition that aired on NBC this week, "America's favorite mystifier" is visiting the Quad-Cities. See the magician on Saturday at the TaxSlayer Center (formerly the iWireless Center) 1201 River Drive, Moline. Tickets, $19.50, $29.50, $39.50 and $59.50, are available at Ticketmaster.com, at the TaxSlayer Center Box Office and by calling 1-800-745-3000.

5. This week marks your last chance to see the student-curated exhibit, “A Look in the Toy Chest: Toys Through Time," at the the German American Heritage Center. The exhibit is the result of a partnership with the Creative Arts Academy of Davenport and it showcases a variety of toys and explores the idea of  how play had evolved through the decades. It runs through Sunday the German American Heritage Center, 712 W. 2nd St., Davenport. Admission is $5 adults, $4 senior citizens, $3 children ages 5-17 and is free for children younger than 5.

Here are just a few suggestions to get you out of the house this week. Bundle up and chase those cabin fever blues away.
