We preach firework safety every year. Every police department, fire department, news channel, radio station, and random Facebook friend on your timeline all talk about "safe firework practices" but there's always SOMEONE who ignores every single "safe practice" rule, and it usually ends up with some catastrophic ending, like lost fingers or bad burns. Well, I found the biggest fail of the year - or best crazy finale, depending on how you want to look at it.

Now, it's one of those "just wait" kinds of videos, but the payoff is phenomenal.

Let's all look at what went wrong here.

First, the crowd, namely the toddlers and baby are way too close, and you see why when the rocket these guys light off in their front yard doesn't launch properly, and blows up on the ground.

The second issue here, could either be the number of shirtless kids in close proximity or the fact there's like $1,500 worth of fireworks about 15 feet from the launch spot, next to and under the back of a minivan.

This all comes to a head when a spark from the failed rocket lights one or more of the fireworks in the pile, and it all turns to chaos from there.

The comments on this Reddit thread just RIP the guys shooting the fireworks apart for this one.

“Hey where should I put the box with all of the fireworks?' 'It should be safe against the car, ten feet away from the explosion," Bean Dinner wrote.

“Good idea. Where should we light them?' 'Right there in the grass. 10 feet from the box with all the fireworks, 10 feet from the people, and 10 feet between the box and the people," Decoy One replied.
