Bettendorf Is Going to Party Big on Its Zip Code Day

May 27, 2022 will be a special day in Bettendorf and it calls for a week-long party.

The day represents Bettendorf's zip code-52722- and the city is planning a big celebration for it. The first event will be a tapping on April 22nd at 5ive Cities Brewing. Here's the list of events, as of now.

If you complete the city's scavenger hunt, you'll be entered in a drawing to win one of ten $527.22 cash prizes! It will start at noon on May 27 and go through June 3, so you'll have time to complete it. You'll be looking for life-size cutouts of Bettendorf's mayor, city council members, one of the city's firefighters and a police officer. So keep your eyes peeled. After you've filled out your scavenger hunt passport, take it to City Hall. Prizes for the scavenger hunt will be awarded at the Be Downtown Festival on June 4.

The Forge Hole-In-One Challenge will be six-hole contest to score the most hole-in-ones to win prizes. Your $10 fee will get you a commemorative golf ball, entry into the challenge, and a beverage.

The 838 Boutique Gift Basket will feature 27 items valued at over $220. You could win it if you visit the boutique (located on Middle Rd.) on May 27.
