
Bettendorf Police Are Looking For A Bear And Need Your Help

Bettendorf Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a bear. Not the living breathing kind, but a wooden bear apparently stolen from a local restaurant.
According to the Bettendorf Police Department's Facebook page, the couple shown in the photo were dining at a Bettendorf restaurant. As they were leaving the male subject stole a carved wooden bear, similar to the one pictured, from the restaurant.

Police say the couple left in a newer model Nissan SUV, which appears to be a Nissan Armada. The bear is approximately 3 feet tall. Contact the BPD at 563-344-4038 with information that may help them locate and reunite this cute bear with it's rightful owner.
