Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds says she will not move to make Iowan shelter in place. However many Iowans are staying home as they should to help fight the spread of coronavirus except for the necessities.

But how much should you be buying during your next trip to the store?

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has recently released new guidelines detailing what you should do when you need groceries.

They recommend only buying one week’s worth of groceries at a time. According to its website, FEMA says buying several weeks worth of items only makes it more difficult for your fellow citizens. It is also recommended to visit grocery stores less frequently by making sure you have everything you need in one trip.
