If you like it cold, you're going to love this weekend. In addition to the QC area getting snow there's also a festival in downtown Davenport that built (literally!) on ice.

Icestravaganza returns to the Freight House this Sat., Jan. 18 from 11-4. It's free family entertainment. There will be ice sculptures, 24,000 pounds of ice blocks, 5 professional ice sculptors, live carving demonstrations, kids’ activities and plenty of free family fun.

This year the ice sculptures will be created around the theme Aliens and Area 51 - flying saucers and little green men among other out-of-this-world creations. Should be plenty of photo ops.

There's also an after party for the over 21 crowd from 6-8. Find more information on the after party and the fest here.
