KIIK 104.9’s Pet of the Week: McAfee

KIIK 104.9's Pet of the week is McAfee. Yes, spelled the same as the anti virus software.

McAfee is a beautiful, curious cat that's full grown and is between one and three years old. He'll be a great lap cat, but don't let that fool you. He likes to explore and is curious. That may lead to him trying to slip out of the house when people are coming and going. He enjoys being held and he purrs almost all the time.

Kids are OK as long as their not overly noisy and rambunctious. Cats generally don't like loud noises. And your child should be old enough to understand how the family pet should be treated.

The Humane Society of Scott County has a special going on right now. You can adopt McAfee, or any adult cat one year or older, for $20. That includes all the cat's vaccinations and his or her personal surgery.
