The American country music duo LOCASH is coming to the Rhythm City Casino tonight! as they get ready for their amazing show, I got a second to talk to them about their recent song 'Beach Boys', and of course some Summer vibes! Hopefully, with those vibes, we stop seeing snow in the Quad Cities!
About The Duo
The duo consists of vocalists Chris Lucas and Preston Brust. Creating a sound that fuses modern Country and classic heartland Rock with an edgy vocal blend – and a growing reputation for mixing backwoods pride with big-picture positivity. Now rising up the Country ranks with a streak of hits, critical acclaim, and awards-show recognition, the duo has two albums, eight charting singles, and nearly 500 MILLION global streams to their credit, with more on the horizon.
Our Interview
It was great to talk with them. It took us a few tries though due to technical difficulties, but hey we got it! Chris and Preston were great to chat with.
I think it's safe to say we are all excited to see them bring Summer vibes to the QC, and thankfully if it does snow or does something crazy they did bring coats!

The duo has since received nominations from the genre’s biggest awards shows – including back-to-back nods for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year from the Academy of Country Music, and Vocal Duo of the Year from the Country Music Association, both in 2017.
