Man Smashes WQAD Photographer’s Camera in Rage
If you don't want to be caught on video, maybe try asking the photographer not to include you rather than destroying the recording device.
Rock Island police are looking for a man who is seen smashing a camera in a parking lot. That camera belonged to a WQAD-TV news photographer.
According to WQAD, the incident took place at 38th Street and 18th Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday, May 1. The photographer was shooting footage of several local businesses in the area from the sidewalk when a man approached him in a parking lot, expressing anger that he may have been filmed while driving by.

WQAD reps say the man first took the photog's hat and as you can see, took the camera and obliterates it smashing it over and over.

The photographer was not injured in the assault.
