Resurfacing Of Middle Road In Bettendorf To Start May 26th

More construction is coming to the Iowa side of the Quad Cities. Bettendorf will start to see Middle Road under construction starting on Tuesday, May 26th.

On Monday, the city of Bettendorf announced that beginning Tuesday, May 26th, Middle Road in Bettendorf will be under construction. This construction is expected to last into July. Middle Road will be under construction between Devils Glen Road and Belmont Road.

The work being done on Middle Road will consist of asphalt resurfacing. The construction being done will happen in two phased stages. During each stage of the project, the construction crews will close two lanes with two-way traffic being moved to the other two lanes.

The start date, expected to be Tuesday, May 26th, and duration of the project, are dependent on weather conditions.

Motorist driving on Middle Road between Devils Glen Road and Belmont Road should be cautious of construction crews. Slow down while driving through construction zones for the safety of workers and other motorist.
