Hard to beat a classic like this. Who could forget that soundtrack!

The Exorcist (1973)

It's a classic, and safe to say most people love or at least respect this movie for what it has done. Some can even argue it pushed horror to a more mainstream audience.

When a 12 year-old girl is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her.

Comedy:

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004

I still remember the first time seeing this. Another movie where most agree the first is the best, and the QC loves it.

Ron Burgundy is San Diego's top-rated newsman in the male-dominated broadcasting of the 1970s, but that's all about to change for Ron and his cronies when an ambitious woman is hired as a new anchor.
